Brenda Gomez, Psy.D.

Brenda Gomez graduated with her doctorate degree in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago campus.  She focused on a broad array of studies to have expertise in the mind/body/conscious connection through the lenses of scientific inquiry, evidence-based practices, philosophical theories, cultural perspectives, and systemic theories. 

Experience and training

Brenda Gomez sought training experiences to continue developing the broad knowledge band to engage with clients as whole selves, navigating how mind/body/(un)consciousness influence humanness.  

Her training placement include: community mental health settings (marginalized populations, free mental health clinics, partial hospitalization clinics), forensic settings (prison, outpatient clinics, partnerships with family court, detention center settings), private practice (focuses on forensic therapy, neuropsychological evaluations, and pediatric focus).

Brenda Gomez completed and successfully defended her dissertation with distinction.  Her research focused on the suicidal moment and systemic influences on suicide in society.
