Evaluations

Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are tools to give answers for referral questions.

Do you want to know more about how your emotional functioning and personality impact the way you move about in the world, or the way to experience being in relationship?

Do you struggle in school, with new learning, focusing on your hobbies?

Have you experienced a head injury, have a decline in memory function?

Psychological or neuropsychological testing may help you have a deeper understanding of your strengths and weaknesses and provide a framework to assist in either a therapeutic approach to make change or outline tools and supports to improve daily functioning.

Psychological and neuropsychological evaluations are available.  The cost of the evaluation is dependent on the referral question or the purpose of testing.

There are different types of evaluations that can be pursued, depending on the purpose of the testing.

All evaluation costs are for $250 per hour rate.

Psychoeducational evaluation.

Psychoeducational evaluations are often completed to assist with accommodations for school, college, entrance and licensing exams.  A comprehensive evaluation will use measures that are required by the examining board (example, SAT, ACT, BAR, MCAT, EPPP).

Emotional and/or personality functioning evaluation

Emotional and personality assessment can help you to better understand your traits, both the strength and weaknesses, of your core personality and emotional experience.  This in-depth assessment includes seeing how you navigate the world, perceive new experiences, and how you navigate relationships.

Neuropsychological Evaluation

Neuropsychological assessment is the normatively informed application of performance-based assessments of various cognitive skills, such as: memory, attention, processing speed, reasoning, judgment, and problem-solving, spatial, and language functions.

Neuropsych testing is appropriate for determining diagnoses of ADHD, Autism, Traumatic brain injury impact and functioning, dementia, complex mental health challenges, and for those looking to understand how their brain is currently functioning.
